Tysons Corporate Office Information

  • Employee Wi-Fi instructions

    To connect to Wi-Fi, open the internet connection tab on your computer and find Mconnect. Once connected, an internet browser tab will open: enter your employee ID and Maximus password, click the “I accept the terms” button, then click connect (it may take a few moments to connect).

    Note: you will not need to enter your credentials to connect to Wi-Fi for 30 days. You will need to re-enter that information after 30 days to connect to Mconnect.

  • Guest Wi-Fi instructions

    On your device (PC, Mac, Mobile), go to the wireless settings and select the wireless SSID MConnect. Open a browser (we recommend Edge on PC or Safari on Mac) and navigate to the default home page. If the login page does not load, enter google.com in the navigation bar of the browser to initiate a page load.

    If MConnect guest credentials have not been provided to you, follow these steps: 

    1. Under the Network Login screen, click the link in orange, Click Here, to create a guest account.
       
    2. On the access registration page, enter the Maximus email address of your sponsor (who you are a guest of), your full name, and your email address.
       
    3. Check the box next to “I accept the terms of use” and click Register.
       
    4. The next screen confirms submission and provides the details sent to your Maximus sponsor.
       
    5. Once the Maximus sponsor approves, the Log in button will be active and available to select.
       
    6. You should now be connected to the internet. Test by entering a publicly available website of your choice (example: investor.maximus.com).  

    Your guest access is limited to 24 hours unless otherwise specified on the confirmation screen. If issues are experienced with the process outlined above, reach out to your Maximus point of contact. 

    If your Maximus point of contact (sponsor) has already provided you with MConnect credentials: 

    1. Enter the provided Username and Password, check the box next to “I accept the terms of use” and click the Log in button.
       
    2. You should now be connected to the internet. Test by entering a publicly available website of your choice (example: investor.maximus.com).  
  • Finding and using a desk

    We use Workplace for booking desks and conference rooms at Tysons. Go to maximus.usworkspace.fwicloud.com and follow these instructions to book a desk:

    1. Click the “Desks” icon
    2. On the left sidebar, select the floor and date you want a desk on
    3. Switch the view to “Map” along the top bar, and select a desk that is green (available) you want to sit at
    4. On the right sidebar, adjust the date and time needed for the booking, then click “Book Desk”

    Once at a desk, plug-in for network connection and to power your computer (you do not need to use your own charger when plugged into a monitor).

    • To use a camera, lightly push down on the top of the monitor to raise a camera to use during meetings.
    • If you need to power on the monitor, the button is on the back bottom right of the monitor (a white light on the bottom front corner will appear when powered on).
    • Headsets or headphones can be plugged in under the monitor.

    Additionally, there are offices available for more privacy and space to work in. You can book offices using the instructions below (offices are booked in the same way meetings and conference rooms are).

  • Booking a conference room

    We use Workplace for booking desks and conference rooms at Tysons. Go to maximus.usworkspace.fwicloud.com and follow the below instructions to book a conference room:

    1. Click the “Meetings” icon
    2. On the left sidebar, select the floor and date you want a conference room on
    3. Switch the view to “Schedule” along the top bar, and select a room and start time you want for your meeting
    4. On the right sidebar, adjust the start and end times of your meeting, then click “Book Room”
  • Using a conference room

    Instructions on how to join meetings using the Crestron tablet and present via Teams or Zoom are available in each conference room.

    If you are unsure how to use the equipment in the conference rooms, contact the local IT team at least 15 minutes prior to the meeting if you will need assistance: desktopservicescorptysons@maximus.com.

  • Using a printer

    To print at Tysons, you need to be connected to “VA Tysons – Print Release.” To connect:

    1. Search “Printers & scanners” on your device
    2. Select “Add a printer or scanner”
    3. After scrolling to find “VA Tysons – Print Release” click "Add device"
  • Validating parking

    Parking validation is available in the lobbies of the 3rd and 14th floors.

    Bring your slip to either floor and scan it under the kiosk. Validation is active up to 15 minutes before you leave (validation expires after 15 minutes).

    When exiting, insert the scanned slip as directed at the parking garage exit.

  • Food and drinks

    Free coffee and snacks are in the cafes on the 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 12th, and 14th floors.

    The snack market on the 12th floor features additional food and drink options available for purchase. Payment can be made by credit card or by loading a market card with funds from your credit card. 

  • Quiet areas and quick calls

    There are small rooms around the office with a chair and table to take quick calls if you do not want to take them in an open area. 

  • Loaner IT equipment

    If you need to borrow IT equipment while visiting the Tysons office, you can find keyboards, mouses, and power adapters, in the cabinet next to the printers on the 2nd floor and at the reception desks on the 3rd and 14th floors. For any technical issues, email: desktopservicescorptysons@maximus.com.
