Congratulations are in order for two MAXIMUS executives who recently received government awards.  Richard Montoni, Chief Executive Officer of MAXIMUS, and Thomas Romeo, President of MAXIMUS Federal Services, have been honored for their contributions as two of the best and brightest leaders in the government contracting sphere.

Rich Montoni was inducted into the Wash100, a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry. The annual award is given to 100 executives and government officials who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to organizational excellence, and driven an above average value to the American public through strategic vision, innovation and achievement.

Rich has been CEO of MAXIMUS since 2006, transforming the Company into a leading operator of health and human services programs. He also directed the expansion of the Company’s global operations and implemented several key changes to optimize business operations.

Tom Romeo was selected as a winner on FCW’s Federal 100 list. The award is given to 100 government, industry and academia leaders who have played pivotal roles that affect how the federal government acquires, develops and manages IT.

Tom has more than 30 years of government contracting and operations experience, and has served as President of MAXIMUS Federal Services since 2011. He has been integral in expanding the Company’s federal book of business and broadening its federal client base, which has led to substantial growth.

We are proud of both Rich and Tom, who continue to drive MAXIMUS forward as an industry leader and serve as influential thought leaders in the government contracting sphere.
