Colonel (Ret.) Scott Lambert
Managing Director, Maximus | Attain
Scott Lambert is a Managing Director within the Maximus | Attain division and is responsible for the Army ERP business. As a retired U.S. Army Colonel with proven leadership and project management experience, Scott brings the unique perspective of a warfighter along with his 27 years of experience in some of the largest business information systems implementations in the world, including seven years of experience with the Army’s legacy logistics systems.
Before joining Attain, Scott served as Project Manager for the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). In this capacity, he set the strategic vision for the project and was responsible for ensuring it met all cost, schedule, and performance goals. In 2007, he led LMP to achieve compliance with the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA), an achievement that won the Government Information Technology Executive Council’s Program Management Award.
Scott previously served in various roles including as a military assistant to the undersecretary of the Army; product manager in the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation; associate director of the Army's Joint Advanced Distributed Learning Collaborative Laboratory; and co-chairman of the Simulation-to-C4ISR Interoperability Overarching Integrated Product Team.
He is recognized throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) management expert with exceptionally strong communication skills and talent for bringing diverse teams together to understand and address complex global information technology issues. Scott has continually earned the trust of both the functional operators who use his systems and software implementation teams that construct them.
Scott holds master’s degrees from the U.S. Naval War College in Rhode Island and the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts.
