Dana R. Alfred

Vice President, Workforce Services Solutions and Strategies

As the industry lead for Workforce Services, Dana Alfred oversees strategy and solution development for all employment-related government programs and services, including Unemployment Insurance, Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T), and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF). In this role, Ms. Alfred works alongside our internal subject matter experts and external stakeholders to design programs and interventions that support state and local government in their delivery of government-funded services.

Ms. Alfred has more than 20 years of employment and policy experience serving vulnerable populations and working with state and local government to implement program and policy reforms. She has extensive experience in implementing and evaluating multiagency human services initiatives, including identifying best-practice approaches to service delivery and creating interagency plans for implementation. As a former state administrator, she understands the complexities of managing federal funds and the flexibility in government funding to implement program innovations and serve the needs of families in new and effective ways.
