Vice President, Workforce Services
Ms. Simmons has worked to improve the lives of children and families through direct service, program management and advocacy for the past 23 years. Since joining Maximus in 1996, she has consulted for and advised numerous private organizations and government agencies across the social service spectrum as they develop and administer human services public policy. As Vice President within Maximus Human Services, she provides administrative, quality and performance management and operational support for programs in the areas of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Youth Services and Child Care. From efforts to outcomes, the innovative programs designed and implemented by Ms. Simmons drive results. Ms. Simmons is President of D.C. Section Two of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), and a graduate of Bowie State University – University System of Maryland.
