Elizabeth Smith, MHS

Elizabeth Smith, MHS

Maximus Senior Vice President for Federal Health Strategy, Elizabeth Smith holds a Master’s in Health Science (MHS) in Health Policy and Planning from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Syracuse University. In this role, she oversees the Company’s Center for Health Innovation, including applied public health and related data analytics efforts on behalf of government clients. She has over thirty years' experience working with the U.S. Federal and State Governments, commercial systems integrators, and private health care and technology firms.

Corinna Dan, RN, MPH

Corinna Dan, RN, MPH

Ms. Dan is the Senior Director leading Maximus Public Health and a public health nurse. She joins Maximus from HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), where she served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Infectious Disease Policy. This Office is responsible for planning and coordinating federal policy and programs for infectious diseases across federal and non-federal partners.

Karin Hoelzer, DVM, Ph.D

Karin Hoelzer, DVM, Ph.D

Dr. Hoelzer is a Senior Director leading our public health analytics team. She joined Maximus from the Pew Charitable Trusts, where she served as a senior officer for health programs. Prior to that, Dr. Hoelzer worked at the Food and Drug Administration, where she supported research and coalition building with industry. She is an expert in zoonotic diseases and biomedical research on virus emergence and virus-host adaptation.
