Elizabeth Smith, MHS
Maximus Senior Vice President for Federal Health Strategy, Elizabeth Smith holds a Master’s in Health Science (MHS) in Health Policy and Planning from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Syracuse University. In this role, she oversees the Company’s Center for Health Innovation, including applied public health and related data analytics efforts on behalf of government clients. She has over thirty years' experience working with the U.S. Federal and State Governments, commercial systems integrators, and private health care and technology firms.

Maximus Vice President, Ms. Dan is a public health nurse leading Maximus Public Health. She joined Maximus from HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), where she served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Infectious Disease Policy. This Office is responsible for planning and coordinating federal policies and programs for infectious diseases across federal and non-federal partners.

As a Senior Director, Dr. Khan brings to Maximus more than twenty years of diversified experience in public health, including program management, surveillance, emergency preparedness and response, epidemiology and research. She has notable international work experience and served at both federal (CDC) and state level (New Hampshire Department of Public Health).

Dr. Cox is a Senior Director with Maximus Public Health with more than 20 years of experience in US and global public health with a focus on infectious disease epidemiology, clinical vaccine trials and policy research, and teaching to diverse academic and workforce audiences. Her research has focused on current and historical public health policies and the changing epidemiological and policy landscape of mandatory school immunization laws in the US. Dr. Cox leads Maximus' workforce development efforts and delivers public health solutions to state, local, and federal clients.

Erika Quinones brings over 15 years of experience working in public health & health care business administration. In addition to working as a public health epidemiologist at both the state and local level, she has held positions in health care administration at federally qualified health centers, clinical administration/clinical practice manager in both the public and private sector, and program management at academic institutions. Her passion is teaching, she has held part time adjunct faculty positions at several community colleges, most recently at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR in nutritional epidemiology.

Uriia Underhill, MPH
Mrs. Underhill utilizes her vast background of experience in program development, implementation, management, and ongoing process improvement. She is versed in infectious disease epidemiology, data analytics, public health communication, and public health emergency preparedness and response. She also enjoys independent study/research in linguistics; anthropology, botany, zoology, and environmental concerns pertaining to disease prevention and intervention.

Emily Sokol, MPH
Emily Sokol is a public health biostatistician with a background in health services, policy, and practice. She joins Maximus with four years of experience in primary and secondary research development. She is versed in quantitative analysis, healthcare communication, and data-driven solutions.
Jonnell Sanciangco, MSc., GISP
Mr. Sanciangco is the Geographic Information Science (GIS) Manager at Maximus. As a key member of the new Maximus Public Health practice, he brings over 16 years of experience implementing geospatial methodologies and techniques for application to public health and development projects.
