Michael E. Torbert is a Partner within the Maximus | Attain division and is responsible for growing the firm’s Federal Civilian sector practice.
Michael brings more than 20 years of information technology experience, with deep expertise in service management and operations. He is a solutions visionary — able to move agencies through a measured progression of infrastructure and enterprise-wide transformation. Among many game-changing deals, he and his team led the largest federal cloud migration that is referenced as an industry best practice.
Prior to joining Attain in 2009, Michael was a Practice Director at Unisys Federal, where he managed a portfolio of more than 20 Federal Civilian agency programs and was instrumental in managing the General Services Administration (GSA) account to become one of the largest at the company. Earlier in his career, he supported and led numerous complex and large-scale engagements at Lockheed Martin.
Michael holds a bachelor’s from Bridgewater College and an MBA from Marymount University.
