Maximus announced today it will host a community resource and employment fair on Wednesday, April 20, at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee. The purpose of the fair is to help participants of workforce programs that Maximus operates on behalf of state and local agencies access resources and connect with employers. Employment and training services offered by Maximus include career planning and development; coaching and individual success planning; and job placement, apprenticeships, and retention support.

Maximus is proud to be part of the return-to-work solution, assisting individuals participating in Wisconsin Works (TANF, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families), FSET (FoodShare Employment and Training), and WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) programs in finding sustainable, meaningful work that empowers them to support themselves and their families with pride.

WHEN: Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE: Italian Community Center, 631 E. Chicago Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

WHAT: The community resource and employment fair will feature national and local companies seeking new employees, including Amazon, FedEx, Cargill, Advocate Aurora Health, as well as the City of Milwaukee and the State of Wisconsin DWD. Additionally, community agencies will be on-site with information on financial resources, health services, and mentorship programs.
