Rebecca Kenawell

Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Rebecca Kenawell joined Maximus in January 2008. She has spent most of her career at Maximus in progressive developmental roles with Human Resources, currently serving as a Senior Vice President.

Rebecca’s earlier Human Resources roles included Director of Total Rewards and Corporate Home Office; Benefits Manager; Manager of Human Resources, Training, Communications, and Policy Development; Human Resources Shared Services Supervisor; and Recruitment Specialist.

Before joining Maximus, Rebecca held positions at the Riverside Regional Medical Center in southern Virginia and at M.I.C. Industries, a government contractor.

During her tenure at Maximus, Rebecca has made many contributions. She developed and implemented the market-based compensation model for Maximus IT.  She played a key role in the implementation of our largest technology investments, including Workday, Deltek, and iCIMS. Rebecca also led the integration of leadership for Maximus U.S. domestic acquisitions, including GDIT and Acentia. In partnership with the Finance Department, Rebecca is responsible for the revision and maintenance of the Authority Matrix.

At the onset of the Maximus contract with Centre for Health and Disability Assessments (CHDA), Rebecca established a global mobility program. She also led the creation and implementation of the Executive Time Off (ETO) program and provides leadership for the evolution of the Human Resources Shared Services function.

Rebecca has a B.S. degree in psychology from Old Dominion University.
