Dr. Paul Williams

General Manager, Outside of the U.S. Segment

Dr. Paul Williams oversees all Maximus business operations outside the United States, spanning health program administration, independent assessments, workforce and disability services. He brings significant clinical leadership experience and a proven track record managing large-scale government programs.

Since joining Maximus in 2015, Dr. Williams has served as Chief Medical Officer and Program Director of the Health Assessment Advisory Service, where he led over 1,800 clinicians in one of the company’s most prominent programs. He later held the role of UK Division President before assuming his current position.

A graduate of Leeds Medical School, Dr. Williams retrained in occupational medicine in 2001, focusing on workplace health. He has held senior clinical leadership roles within the UK’s National Health Service, law enforcement, and major corporations.

He is a former President of the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM) and a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM). Dr. Williams continues to mentor emerging clinical leaders at Maximus and across the health sector, with a particular focus on digital innovation.
