Frequently asked questions

Find answers to your most common referral questions.

An eligible candidate is someone who has not worked for Maximus in the past 24 months or in a temporary or contract capacity through a third-party employer within the last 180 days. The candidate must be hired for a full-time or part-time position in the U.S. or Canada, excluding temporary, third-party, or intern roles. Additionally, they cannot be recruited directly from undergraduate or graduate school programs.

For the referral bonus to be paid, both the referring and referred employees must be employed at payout, with the referred employee completing 90 days and mentioning you as their referrer during the hiring process. No search firm or employment fees should be involved.
