Beverly Smith brings over 35 years of experience in emerging technologies and information technology organizations across a broad range of industries, including technology solutions for government programs. As senior vice president of business solutions for our U.S. Services segment, she leads enterprise-wide and strategic technology initiatives, including the adoption of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, that support the state and local government programs we operate.
After joining Maximus in 2003, Beverly led the development and delivery of childcare information systems for two state clients. She then joined our eligibility support services team in Texas as the project’s chief information officer. She later served as the technology lead for our growing United Kingdom operations where she was responsible for all IT and shared services across the country, including the management of data centers, telephony, software development, security, service delivery support, and back-office support.
Beverly previously served as an application program manager and technical project leader at SAIC in support of multiple federal agency contracts. She also held leadership roles at technology firms Network Solutions (now Verisign) and the Thomson Corporation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in decision sciences and a master’s degree in information systems from George Mason University.
