Corinna Dan

Managing Director, Federal Health

Ms. Dan joined Maximus to help lead the development of Maximus Public Health — a resource to aid communities in meeting the unprecedented demands of COVID-19 and other public health challenges. She brings over 20 years of experience and expertise in infectious disease and public health, including strategic planning to prevent and respond to public health threats. She also is a nurse educator with expertise in health communication and promotion.

Ms. Dan most recently worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), where she served as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Office of Infectious Disease Policy. This Office is responsible for coordinating federal policy and programs for infectious diseases across federal and non-federal partners. In this role, Ms. Dan served as subject matter expert on viral hepatitis and infectious disease prevention, including strategic plan development, dissemination, and implementation within HHS, across federal departments, and with non-federal partners. This included identifying public health project opportunities such as convening and working with state Medicaid and health department staff to improve data analyses, programs, and patient outcomes.

Prior to joining OASH, Ms. Dan served as Hepatitis B Policy Fellow at the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) and held positions in the Hepatitis Foundation International and the Chicago Department of Public Health, among other roles.

Ms. Dan holds an MPH from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a B.S. in Nursing from Rush University in Chicago, and a B.A. in Asian/Japanese Studies from Connecticut College in New London.
