John Mandell is Managing Director of the National Security team at Maximus. He brings over 15 years of experience in the National Security and DHS sector serving as a technology consulting executive – John’s dedication to IT modernization efforts across the Homeland Security marketplace highlights his strategic expertise.
Prior to joining Maximus, John was Director of Public Sector at Guidehouse (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers). Earlier in his career, he was a member of the Grant Thornton Global Public Sector team and the BearingPoint Oracle practice. John brings expertise in Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, including DevSecOps practices, Cloud, and Advanced Analytics, as well as process improvement and IT services.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He also holds Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist certifications.
