Kathy is a senior healthcare executive with over 28 years of military service as an Army Nurse leader. She has a proven track record of achieving results in large, complex healthcare systems, focusing on enhancing patient and team experiences. As a transformational leader, Kathy excels in strategic planning, leadership development, change management, and operational excellence.

Kathy has extensive experience within the military medical settings, supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) Military Health System (MHS). She has held key leadership roles, including Senior Military Deputy for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs and Director of Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center. Her diverse assignments span command, nursing leadership, and health education roles across the U.S. and abroad.

She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Bellarmine University, a master’s in health services leadership from the University of Maryland, and a master’s in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.
