Col. Michael Sieber (U.S. Army, Ret.) drives Maximus’ programs that secure systems, applications, and data critical to Department of Defense (DoD) operations. His systems engineering approach to cybersecurity ensures that enterprise defenses continuously protect the mission.
Prior to joining Maximus, Mr. Sieber served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in the Office of the DoD Deputy Chief Information Officer for Special Programs. In this role he served as the Authorizing Official for accreditation and certification of multiple classified IT networks.
In his previous position at Chief of the Strategic Effects Division at U.S. Cyber Command, Mr. Sieber planned and executed information operations that protected critical infrastructure and national security systems.
During his career in the U.S. Army, Mr. Sieber commanded the Army’s only active-duty information operations battalion responsible for operational and intelligence support of military priorities.
Michael is a graduate of the Naval War College Command and Staff program and has a Master of Science in Information Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from Webster University.
