Michelle Adams brings over 25 years of experience in government IT. She excels in creating transformative solutions that span technologies and streamline complex business processes.
As a managing director in our Medicaid Enterprise Services business, she leads the development of innovative technical solutions that meet the needs of states. She applies her extensive expertise in business operations and technology for highly complex public programs, including state Medicaid programs and Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). Her work is key to helping states achieve Medicaid system modernization and implement other strategic long-term system enhancements.
Prior to joining Maximus, Michelle held leadership roles at Accenture and Electronic Data Systems (now Gainwell). Her roles encompassed business architecture, project management, and business development, allowing her to see the industry from multiple perspectives. She began her career as a public health outreach worker in Texas, helping parents receiving public assistance understand the importance of health screenings for their children.
Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with an emphasis in health and wellness promotion from Texas State University.
