Rick Sankey has over 30 years of public sector consulting experience. As senior managing director of consulting, he oversees our portfolio of state and local consulting and advisory services projects across the U.S.
Rick served as the senior vice president of our program modernization consulting practice before assuming responsibility for all consulting practices in 2015. Today, our consulting offerings include financial analysis and advisory services, program and system modernization, and digital government solutions, which we deliver to state and local government agencies and higher education institutions.
Prior to joining Maximus in 2003, Rick held several state government leadership roles. He was the director of the Office of Contracts and Grants Administration and the school readiness liaison for the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation. He also served as director, financial administrator, and manager for the Office of Revenue Management within the Florida Department of Children and Families where he directed a wide range of projects and initiatives related to the management, budgeting, and recovery of funding for health and human services programs.
Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University.
