Marti Sanders-Tonahill is the senior vice president and chief of staff for our U.S. Services Segment. She's responsible for supporting strategy and segment initiatives, including key business decisions, and assisting our senior executives in all aspects of operations. Marti also oversees analysis, risk management, and compliance within our segment.
Since joining Maximus, she's served in various management roles, including vice president of human resources for two health services regions. As vice president of operations for our human services business, she was responsible for our child support, new hire reporting, paternity engagement, and many other state-based contracts.
Marti has 15 years of experience administrating and managing health and human services programs at the state and local levels. Before joining Maximus, she served as a contracted state attorney in Tennessee and as a guardian ad litem for the Rhode Island Family Court’s Office of the Court Appointed Special Advocate.
Marti holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law.
