Alex Dixon, a senior director in our Federal Health Market, has over 25 years of experience providing strategic and operational support to the federal government. He implements technology-driven solutions to advance healthcare mission achievement for the Military Health System (MHS) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), including a focus on digital modernization initiatives that improve access to care, beneficiary experience, and provider experience.
Prior to joining Maximus in 2022, Alex was a senior associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, providing team leadership and developing new business across the Defense and Civilian sectors. In addition to MHS and VA, Alex’s client experience features an array of federal agencies, including, but not limited to, the U.S. Air Force Space Command, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Department of the Interior, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Social Security Administration. Before launching his consulting career, Alex served as a civilian contract specialist for the Department of the Navy, where he executed contracting strategies for classified programs.
Alex holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Bucknell University. He is a member of the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and holds certifications as a PMP, DAWIA Level III – Contracting, and Acquisition Professional.
