Meshia Henderson has more than 20 years of experience improving the wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities. She has managed income support benefits and employment services programs, including SNAP, TANF, fatherhood, child care, and unemployment insurance, at the state and local level.
As a business leader, Meshia is decisive and highly skilled in developing community networks and partnerships. With a focus on client success, she brings a proven track record of driving performance and building collaborative teams.
Meshia’s held progressive roles for workforce and unemployment insurance programs in Tennessee, Indiana, Nevada, and Rhode Island. Prior to joining Maximus, she served as a program supervisor at a local government career advancement center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Meshia holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee.
