Jessica Smith is a corporate social responsibility professional. They bring their expertise in corporate philanthropy and social impact to Maximus and infuse it into the operations and communications of the Maximus Foundation. They are committed to centering the experience and goals of the people being served by corporations and nonprofits, with special consideration for historically excluded and underserved communities.

Jessica joined Maximus in 2019 after completing their service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic. Previously, they held roles with the MIT Sloan School of Management, MIT Energy Initiative, and served as a volunteer firefighter. They received a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University, majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Business and Society.

Jessica is the first openly nonbinary or Indigenous person to serve as the Secretary of the Maximus Foundation.
