Kinte Ibbott is an accomplished health leader with 25 years of healthcare experience consulting to government agencies, nonprofits, and commercial organizations. As a leader in our Federal Health Division, he directs contracts across the U.S. Social Security Administration, Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, and the U.S. Agency for International Development. He oversees our Independent Review Organizations (IROs) and Independent Dispute Resolution Entity (IDRE) programs that provide appeals and independent medical reviews in support of medical necessity denials, surprise billing, quality of care, and utilization reviews for 50+ state departments of health and insurance.
He is also a valuable member of the Maximus Foundation Board of Directors where he helps guide the organization’s charitable strategy and community engagement. He serves on the company’s DE&I Advisory Board and as a corporate representative for the Congressional Black Caucus Institute and the National Black Caucus of State Legislatures.
