Congratulations to our marketing and communications project teams at NY State of Health (NYSOH) and California Medi-Cal Health Care Options (HCO) for winning four 2023 Marcom Awards – out of 6,500+ entries! The awards honor excellence in marketing and communications while recognizing the creativity and hard work of industry professionals. Competing against some of the world's top talent, media conglomerates, and Fortune 500 companies, our teams showcased innovation to drive engagement with state agencies.

Our New York team won three awards. The platinum award recognized the project’s increase in employee engagement via the intranet, NYSOH Connect. The information portal provided easy access to important news, resources, and information. The team also won two gold awards for social media, including the innovative Characters In Motion social campaign and the #HowTo Marketplace video tutorials.

Our California team also won a gold award for improving digital accessibility and enhanced services as part of a website migration and upgrade. The California Medi-Cal HCO website, managed by the California Department of Health Care Services, provides self-service enrollment into Medicaid managed care plans. In partnership with Maximus Digital Solutions, the team migrated the site to our Digital Experience Hub platform to improve the user experience and make it easier for Californians to learn about, apply for, and easily enroll in a health plan.
