With over 35 years of experience consulting for health and human services programs, Pat Aguilar is the managing director of our state and local program modernization consulting practice.
In his current role at Maximus, he is responsible for our nationwide practice of health and human services delivery systems and solution consultants. A program system modernization expert, Pat focuses on helping states improve their human services programs through business process optimization and smart system automation strategies.
As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Pat has led large system development, technical infrastructure, and system modernization projects in over a dozen states. He is well-versed in system planning and development efforts for child support enforcement, child welfare, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Medicaid projects.
Pat joined Maximus in 2012 as part of our acquisition of Policy Studies Inc. He previously held management roles at Unisys, ForThought Group, Lynx Consulting, and BDM.
Pat holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and information systems from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management.
