  • Quantities of in-stock items may be limited.
  • If inventory is available, in-stock items will ship within three days of placing your order.
  • Apparel items that are not in-stock will be processed on the 1st and 15th of each month. Shipping times will vary based on products and manufacturer.

Absolutely! For in-stock items, follow the prompts to order and charge items to your project charge code on the Business Site. Keep in mind quantities may be limited. If you would like to order items that are not listed on the Business Site, send an email to store@maximus.com. Custom order times vary, so plan ahead and allow at least 4-6 weeks production time.

The processing time varies for custom orders. As a ripple effect from COVID-19, there continues to be supply chain issues and additional processing time is required to imprint, embroider, etc. We will do our best to fulfill orders as timely as possible; however, keep in mind there may be issues with product availability and completing orders on short notice. If there are issues fulfilling your order, you may be contacted by AlphaGraphics North Liberty (our vendor that manages The Store) or a member of the Corporate Communications team.

Due to the custom nature of the items in our storefront, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

Each apparel item is made to order. Review the product description to help determine which size to order.

If an item arrives damaged, send photos of damaged item(s) along with the order number to store@maximus.com. Replacements may be shipped if necessary.

For business-related items, place your order on the Business Site. You will be required to enter a project charge code in the “enter Maximus charge code here” field during checkout. Charge codes begin with six characters (could be a mix of letters and numbers), followed by groups of numbers in sets of two and three. If you do not know what code to use, ask your manager.

If you have more complex purchases, for example, orders requiring multiple charge codes, email store@maximus.com for assistance.

If you are shopping for yourself, place your order on the Personal Site where you will be required to enter a personal credit card. Purchases made with a personal credit card are not reimbursable by Maximus. Expense reports will be rejected.

For business-related orders, your project charge code will be charged for the actual shipping costs. Our vendor will use the most cost effective and recommended shipping provider between UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS).

After August 31, 2022, personal orders will be charged a flat shipping rate of $10.00. Rates are subject to change. Shipping charges will be automatically applied at check out.

Note: There may be times where shipping providers may experience delays due to weather.

Choose ‘Ship to Multiple Addresses’ on the Shipping screen. For your convenience, addresses for most Maximus locations have been prepopulated.

To check the status of an order, log into The Store and check the Order History. Upon placing an order, the history will show Order Received. Once an order is shipped, the Order History will change to Shipping. When the order ships, the person who placed the order will receive an email notification.

To ensure brand compliance, AlphaGraphics is our preferred vendor. Please email store@maximus.com to discuss custom orders. There may be times other vendors may have access to a specialty product AlphaGraphics does not. If you choose to use a different vendor, you must send the proof of the item and logo placement to The Store team for approval to ensure brand compliance before purchasing.

The Store offers bundled items that are perfect for welcoming a new employee or to prepare for an event. Review the Swag Bundle Guidelines for more information.
