Michael Trinidad Sr., U.S. Army

An Army Veteran, Trinidad uses his communication and leadership background to manage various tasks as a facilities technician and co-lead Maximus’ Veterans Alliance of Individuals, Family, and Friends Employee Resource Group.

Air Force Veteran uses life experience to support Maximus’ business development. Scarpiello helps identify new businesses and customers and considers acquiring these partners as a “win” with his team.

Navy Veteran uses a background in education to support Cleveland, Ohio’s Cuyahoga County Jobs and Family Services. Just as she set up her high school students for success, Janet now helps adults find jobs to further their lives.

Jennifer Jutkofsky-Pine, U.S. Navy

Navy law enforcement officer finds meaningful work as a Maximus call center manager. Although she had never managed a call center before, her military background allowed Jutkofsky-Pine to develop experience in leadership, customer service, and dedication to the mission.

Karl Anderson, U.S. Navy

A former Navy nuclear reactor operator uses his military skills to keep IT and tech services secure for more than 35 years.

Tina Trumble, U.S. Navy

Tina Trumble, a retired Navy sailor, uses her more than a 20-year military career to manage IT systems for Maximus. Trumble said her favorite thing about working for Maximus is the people she gets to work with on a daily basis, many of them Veterans or military family members.

Julia Rosenbaum. U.S. Army

After serving 17 years in the Army across five different military specialties, Julia Rosenbaum now serves as a Veteran liaison lead with Veterans Evaluation Services, assisting other Veterans with their questions and helping them find solutions for their requests.

Helping Veterans successfully transition to civilian employment

One of our Foundation grantees is JV SoCal, an employment services organization in Los Angeles. They help individuals prepare for and obtain better jobs by providing career assessments, skills-building, and training programs. One program they offer is JVS Veterans First. This program is specifically aimed at assisting Veterans in transitioning from military to civilian employment.
