Dan Biernacki is the Senior Vice President of Digital Solutions at Maximus. In this role, he is responsible for the reimagination and digitization of the experience of interacting with government services.
Dan is passionate about helping organizations create game-changing digital strategies, understanding users, creating delightful user experiences, and providing flawless solution delivery execution. He leads our teams responsible for the research, design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge consumer-facing public sector solutions. This includes overseeing all efforts related to Experience and Service Design, Creative and Content services, and designing and deploying solutions that enable both Self-Service Experiences and Back-office Automation. Each of these domains demand a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements within the government sector, such as regulatory compliance, security and privacy concerns, accessibility, and the complexities of legacy systems. Dan collaborates with partners and stakeholders both within and outside of Maximus to create innovative solutions with speed and scale to meet the evolving needs of government service consumers while driving digital transformation within the organization.
Dan joined Maximus as a Vice President of Digital Delivery in January 2019, bringing years of experience in business-driven digital transformation, complex systems integration, technology delivery, product development, and service & user experience design. Before joining Maximus, Dan worked at Accenture Interactive (now Accenture Song) as a Digital Delivery Executive, where he led the strategy, design, and implementation of numerous digital assets for organizations across multiple industries, including communications, media, high tech, consumer goods & services, industrial goods & services, and pharmaceuticals. He has also served as an instructor, designing and teaching courses in the areas of user experience (UX), user interface (UI), informatics, and agile delivery.
Dan earned a degree in Information Technology & Informatics (ITI) from Rutgers University. He has also served on the advisory boards for Rutgers University’s Design Thinking program and the Illinois Institute of Technology Office of Professional and Continuing Education.
