David Crowson

Vice President, Business Solutions, U.S. Services

As vice president of business solutions for our U.S. Services segment, David Crowson shapes the development and delivery of advanced technology solutions that help state and local government programs advance their missions through operational excellence and measurable outcomes.  

Since joining Maximus in 2021, David has led pursuit strategy and solution architecture, focusing on modernizing service delivery for public programs and championing new ways of thinking about how people engage with government. He guides a team of solution architects to ensure our innovative solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned to agency priorities.

Previously, David served as the chief information officer for the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, where he led initiatives in modernization, digitization, and operational excellence for the state’s largest agency. He began his public service career as an eligibility specialist for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), and Medicaid programs. During his 11-year tenure with the State of Montana, he served as a project lead for integrated eligibility, IT systems manager, and division administrator.

David holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
