Program manager demonstrates excellence in supporting Contact Center Operations small business partners

As Program Manager, Andrea Floyd, Ph.D., ensures that the socioeconomic small business partners of the Maximus Contact Center Operations (CCO) receive daily operational support and that their needs and concerns are addressed with practical solutions. With over a decade of experience within the organization, her career trajectory began as an operations supervisor, where she demonstrated her commitment to excellence and continuous improvement through several initiatives supporting the operations team of the Hattiesburg, Mississippi, location.

"I genuinely value my position at Maximus, mainly due to the connections I've made and the autonomy it offers. My passion is motivated by a wide range of interests, so it's critical that I can pursue my career and professional objectives," Floyd noted.

Her dedication propelled her into a managerial role before ultimately assuming leadership of the Partner Management department. In her current position, Floyd serves as a liaison between prime and subcontractor performance, communicating expectations and requirements to mitigate risks and maintain budgetary agreements.

"I find my position as a program manager to be satisfying since it aids me to grow personally and improve professionally as well. In addition to extending my perspective, engaging with various partners, each with their own unique corporate cultures and values, directly enhances the CCO's success as an organization."

Jennifer Gordon, the Program Manager at Capitol Bridge Health Services, has a close working relationship with Floyd and praises her collaboration and leadership skills.

Floyd is instrumental in cultivating strategic partnerships to foster growth and development within the organization. With oversight of approximately 2,000 contingent workers across five states, her leadership ensures seamless operations and optimal performance.

Notably, Floyd holds a doctorate in business administration specializing in race, gender, strategy, and entrepreneurship.

Floyd's academic pursuits align closely with her professional endeavors, as she actively conducts research aimed at equipping entrepreneurs with strategies to overcome barriers hindering early-stage business survival.

Floyd feels fortunate to be in her leadership role at Maximus, "it allows me to combine my personal and professional goals in a way that contributes to our company's overall successes."
