Field Services BPO IT Technician, Hattiesburg, Mississippi
Shaquille Davis is one of our Field Services BPO IT Technicians and has been with the project for seven years. He loves the challenge and the opportunities to collaborate with new people that this role brings. He's received multiple promotions on the project, giving him the chance to help mentor many others along the way.
How did you start on your project?
I started working on the project in 2015 as a limited-service, part-time customer service representative (CSR).
How has your career progressed since joining the company?
Within a few months, I was promoted to a limited-service supervisor. I then rolled back to a CSR, was promoted to a full-time supervisor, and then into my current IT role.
Prior to my career with Maximus, I was studying computer networking and wanted to pursue a technical role. Coming into the company, I was told that there would be room for growth, and plenty of opportunities to move up the ladder, not only in the project, but the company.
What impact has the call center had on you?
I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the many wonderful people and friends throughout the years who have motivated me to apply for different positions.
Thanks to the project, I’m now able to apply everything I learned to my current role in IT including a stronger work ethic, sharper critical thinking skills, leadership skills, and personal growth.
In this role, I get to do what I love, and that is helping others, solving problems, learning, and playing with technology! I can’t wait to see where my Maximus career goes next!
