Dr. Susan Rieck
Medical Director, Clinical Services
Dr. Rieck served as the Medical Director for DDM-Ascend. She brings more than 20 years of experience working as a physician advisor for Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) and in a Quality Assurance role. At Maximus, she is a vital participant in proposal development and projects that involve a clinical review process. She has served as a medical director for outpatient psychiatric clinics in the Nashville area, as well as a medical director for the inpatient psychiatric unit at Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans. Dr. Rieck received her BA in Biology at Brown University and her MD degree from Tulane Medical School. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at the Ochsner Foundation, served as the chief resident, and is board certified. She is passionate about working with underserved populations and promoting wellness in the workplace.
