Kathleen Kerr

Executive Managing Director, Human Services and Texas Health, U.S. Services

As Executive Managing Director for Human Services and Texas Health, Kathy Kerr oversees a broad book of service offerings.

For human services, this includes workforce services; child support, care and welfare; secondary education; and the application of supplemental security income benefits for individuals with disabilities. The Company’s offerings range from consulting and technology engagements to full operation of government programs.

In Texas, Kathy also oversees the Company’s health service offerings. This includes operation of the centralized eligibility program that serves some of the state’s largest health and human service programs — Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Maximus also provides enrollment broker services for the state’s Medicaid population.

Prior to joining Maximus, Kathy was involved in several startups including serving as CEO and President of Supportkids in Austin, Texas. She also served for 12 years with the State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, first as Chief Legal Counsel for the Division of Child Support Services and later as the Director of the Office of Program Support, where she was also Director of the state's Title IV-D program.

Kathy received her bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts and her Juris Doctor from the Western New England University School of Law. She is a member of the Bar in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
